C2KY Project Featured in Video about Bringing It Home
We are pleased to announce the completion of the 10 minute video Bringing It Home: Voices of Student Veterans: The Collaboration Behind the Documentary Drama that was directed by Paul Mojonnier and produced by Video Editing Services, Inc. of Lexington, Kentucky. The short 10 minute video was created using clips from: initial interviews with the student veterans who participated in the From Combat to Kentucky Oral History Project at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History; footage of last year’s Veteran’s Day revival production in Buell Armory; and interviews of Doug Boyd, Herman Farrell, Tony Dotson and Tyler Gayheart discussing the collaboration and the impact of the documentary play.
This short video will be used in our efforts to promote the Nunn Center’s From Combat to Kentucky Oral History Project and the Bringing It Home documentary drama throughout the country. It is our hope that our collective work can be used as a model for other veterans resource centers, oral history centers and theatre departments in universities and colleges across America — and, perhaps, the world.
